For our customer in Rotterdam we are looking for an
Customer Service Representative(M/V)
The function
The Customer Service Representative is responsible for coordinating purchase orders with transactional stakeholders: suppliers, vendors, customs agents/officers, and internal departments. The Customer Service Representative is the nexus of communication and documentary flow for each transaction, keeping regular contact by phone, fax, and e-mail. Key emphasis is placed on good communication and strong organizational skills. A basic understanding of commercial and logistical concepts is a plus.
· Creating and updating order files, issuing timely and accurate order documentation
· Data entry and maintenance of the database for order tracking purposes
· Resolving service problems with suppliers and vendors during order fulfillment
· Resolving discrepancies when necessary
· Tracking order completion and coordinating internally with Marketing and Logistics teams
We request
· Middle Vocational Education (MBO)
· Approx. 0-2 years of relevant work experience (preferably in Order Management or Customer Services)
· Good computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
· Fluency in English and French with a strong preference for Dutch and/or German as an extra language
· Reliable High service level
· Good communication skills
· Strong organizational skills
· Motivated
· Quick thinker
· Affinity with working in an international environment
