We are currently seeking a Storeman with a customer service focus to join an established company in the Plasterboard industry.
The right candidate would be a great communicator have a good knowledge of plasterboard materials and tools, and the ability to talk the talk with tradesmen and home builders.
You would be expected to work in a busy industrial shopfront with an established team to keep up with the daily orders and step up to the plate in busier periods.
The position will be a casual start to determine whether you have the right attitude and motivation to join the team.
Note: This role does involve a lot of hand loading/unloading, and can be quite physical.
You will be required to operate the inhouse inventory system, so you would need to be comfortable with computers, and have a good knowledge of one or more warehouse inventory control systems.
You will need:
- A current NSW forklift license.
- A strong background in the plasterboard industry.
- Good product knowledge in the plasterboard industry.
It will be advantageous to have:
- An MR or HR license
