Customer Service Supervisor Job in New York, New York US

This position is responsible for providing managerial support to the Customer Service (claims/eligibility) Department and Manager. Responsibilities also include, but are not limited to understanding department workflows, implementing policies procedures, communicating Plan standards and monitoring the processes and staff to ensure timely completion of the operation's functions. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus. To qualify, candidates must possess:
- Good business acumen with a customer focus service orientation.
- Claims processing payment experience.
- Knowledge of laws, rules and regulations pertaining to insurance claims.
- Strong communication (oral/written) skills essential to success.
- Command of business software applications, including MS Office Suite.
- Experience in recruiting, interviewing, and managing department staff.
