Customer Service Supervisor/Manager Trainee
Customer Service Supervisors/Managers lead a team of Branch Service Representatives responsible for providing quality customer service, identifying client needs and generating quality sales referrals. The CSS/CSM TR is responsible for training, developing and coaching the service team, contributing to the profitability of the branch by establishing a highly successful and efficient customer service team.
As a Customer Service Supervisor/Manager Trainee, ATB Financial will provide you with a comprehensive on-the-job training program. This training will encompass classroom instruction, written assessments, case studies and hands-on work experience in our branch network. Upon successful completion of your training program, you will be appointed to a Customer Service Leadership position.
You will find success based on your ability to:
- Lead and coach a customer service team using the Service Leadership practices including weekly goal setting, focused coaching and observation based coaching meetings, weekly huddles and Associate meetings
- Identify development requirements for service Associates and ensure timely registration for service courses, as required
- Recognize and reward Associates for key contributions
- Communicate, and act as an Advocate of ATB's Corporate and HR policies and practices, with Service Associates
- Actively recruit Sales and Service Associates from the competitive marketplace
- Manage branch sales referral campaigns and targets
- Maintain and build customer relationships by providing optimum customer service
- Develop and build internal partner relationships with other ATB departments, supporting branch operations to meet customer service requirements and resolve issues or concerns
- Ensure branch assets are properly safeguarded and that premises and equipment are maintained and that collateral documents are properly controlled and resource scheduling meets the demands of customer traffic patterns
- Implement tactical service routines, best practices processes and procedures on all administrative and operational activities within the branch
- Participate in branch business planning and budgeting meetings
- Liaise with Mid-Office personnel to ensure optimum customer service is provided to all customers and fosters an excellent relationship with Mid-Office associates
Job Requirements:

- Model and demonstrate service activities and behaviors
- Demonstrate integrity through consistency of words and actions
- Demonstrate an ability to deal with change, make decisions and implement creative solutions
- Recognized business degree or diploma, or an equivalent combination of training and experience
- Completion of Service Training program or equivalent training and experience
- Knowledge of personal lending services and products is an asset
- Financial services experience, with demonstrated leadership abilities is an asset
