Our client, Nice Group USA, Inc., is seeking a Customer Service Technician (Technician). The Technician reports to the Customer Service Manager and provides technical support to installers, dealers, customers (distributors), and the sales team of Nice Group USA over the phone or in person. Additionally, the Technician supports the seminars and training classes for the installers, dealers and distributors. The Technician is also responsible for the development and maintenance of product manuals, technical service bulletins, and product catalogs (print and web).
The Technician processes order entry, RMA, repair orders and various associated documentation and works with every area of the company. This provides a wide range of career advancement potentials within the organization.

Job Responsibilities and Tasks
- Provide technical support to installers, dealers, customers (distributors), and the sales team with respect to diagnosing and troubleshooting product and installation issues
- Process order entry, RMA, repair orders and various associated documentation
- Document telephone calls in customer call database in a timely and accurate manner
- Support the seminars and training classes for the installers, dealers and distributors either at the Nice Group USA headquarters in San Antonio, Texas or various areas nationwide
- Develop and maintain product manuals, technical service bulletins, and product catalogs (print and web)
- Perform all other tasks and duties as assigned
Skills Knowledge
- Associate degree preferred with at least 2 years of product support and troubleshooting experience, dealing directly with customers, and/or dealer/installer experience in the electromechanical equipment industry
- Technical aptitude with the ability to read, interpret, and explain electrical and mechanical systems
- Must have demonstrated ability to logically lead customers through troubleshooting over the phone with efficiency and courtesy
- Strong command in both written and oral English language, including the ability to read and comprehend technical documents
- Excellent public speaking/presentation/instructional skills
- Proficiency in technical writing as with at least two years of experience drafting documents such as product manuals and service bulletins in the electromechanical equipment industry
- Advanced user of MS Office programs (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and desktop publishing software
- Being bilingual in English and Spanish is not a requirement but a definite plus
