Customer Services Clerk recruitment
Main Responsibilities:
- Customer account enquires
- Support of Sales activity
- Data administration
- Account opening and closure
- Customer billing and invoicing
- Support sterling clearing activity
- Support Cash Management products and services
Internal External Contacts:
- Account holders (internal and external).
- European Back Office, Paris.
- Sogecash International Centre, Paris.
- Payment Services business line, Paris.
- Other SG Business lines.
- Contact can be with all individuals, especially with regard to external account holders.
- Contact with most of the above is on a daily basis.
Specific Context:
- Occasional travel may be required.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education:
- A Levels or equivalent
Past Experience/Skills:
- UK clearing bank customer service or cash management support role
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Although not mandatory, foreign language skills would be advantageous and are key factors of success in job evolution within the Group
- An inquisitive nature and willingness to learn is essential
Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of Swift network and message types.
- Understanding of UK clearing and settlement systems (BACS, CHAPS, Direct Debits etc.)
- Good knowledge of MS office especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
