Under minimal supervision, promote sales and effective use of products by providing instructions, demonstrations and recommendations as well as support to customers for the purposes of integrations, flight tests and supporting internal Goodrich / Cloud Cap personnel for tradeshows and customer visits/demonstrations.
- Support customers in overall usage of products, both autopilots and gimbals including but not limited to general technical support, integrations, flight tests, and pre-deployment ramp for government contracts.
- Provide resolution of technical problems with Cloud Cap products to both internal and external customers
- Represent Cloud Cap technically and professionally at customers or potential customers. Provide instruction and conduct demonstrations.
- Coordinate the resolution of product problems and respond to customer inquiries for assigned program(s) in a timely manner.
- Coordinate development of Component Maintenance Manuals, Service Bulletins, Service Letters, Technical Proposals, and Product Deviations Authorizations.
- Prepare and deliver technical sales presentations.
- Prepare and conduct product operational and maintenance training.
- Provide Manufacturing, Design Engineering, NBD and Service Center support on technical issues.
- Perform these and any other activities which may be assigned or which may occur in the normal course of work.
- Experience with Piccolo and / or TASE product lines for at least 3 years or 5-10 years in the UAS industry with Autopilot or Gimbal User Interface (UI) experience
- Familiarity with system level support requirements including electrical, optical, mechanical, software and maintenance issues.
- Extensive travel is required both foreign and domestic.
- Able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance preferred.
- Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within mechanical or electrical system level support
- Excellent communications skills. Able to represent themselves and the company in a professional business manner.
- Associate's degree in Electronics, Avionics or related discipline required; Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Software or Aerospace engineering or related discipline.
- 50-60% travel required
- U.S. Citizenship or Green Card required
