Customer Support Assistant

Our client, a leading Fashion Wholesale company based in the City of London, are looking to recruit a bright, enthusiastic candidate with a passion for retail to join their small Customer Service team.

Based in a fantastic office space above the main company showrooms, our client are renowned in the industry and distribute across the UK and Ireland, and are breaking into small parts of Europe. Due to company growth, they are looking for a candidate to join them on a permanent basis and grow within the company.

Working in a team of 5 and underneath a Customer Services Supervisor, you will be responsible for acting as the first point of contact for all client queries. Supporting clients with issues including deliveries, stock management, logistics and purchases, you will ensure the continuation of a smooth working relationship with a host of major clients through excellent customer service. Key responsibilities will include:

- Acting as the first point of contact for customers over the phone
- Processing customer orders using the company's in-house system
- Chasing purchase orders from suppliers
- Liaising with clients and internal staff (sales team, warehouse, etc)
- Supporting the sales team with any general administrative tasks
- Checking incoming stock for quantity
- Ensuring all catering/entertainment for client events is covered
- Reporting on client spend

In order to be considered for this position, it is imperative that you have an interest in fashion, are presentable and have an enthusiastic, bubbly personality. Although no specific experience is required, it is essential that you have the right personality to fit in with the fast-paced, sociable office.
