Mando is experiencing rapid growth and has a need for a Customer/Warranty Engineer at the Opelika, Alabama location.
Objective:
The Customer/Warranty Engineer is responsible for all facets of OEM warranty management, organization, review, and action process. The position is also responsible for all facets of customer quality, improving customer satisfaction at all contact points and serves as the primary facilitator with assigned Mando America customers.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinates the representation of customers within MANDO ("Voice of the Customer") for warranty issues.
- Manage communication with customers to provide a focal point for information on MANDO supplied products regarding warranty performance and related issues.
- Development and implementation of a proactive approach to handling and preventing warranty claims by participating with MANDO cross-functional teams.
- Translate warranty related customer requirements into action plans within MANDO to improve product and information quality.
- Represent MANDO at customer meetings and lead / support customer satisfaction and warranty related functions.
- Coordinate the tracking, reporting, and record of warranty returns including Customer database and online systems as required.
- Coordinate internal problem solving teams within MANDO at customer quality reviews.
- Coordinate the tracking, reporting, and record of Customer satisfaction measures for all customers.
- Promote the proactive approach in the advance quality planning process for new products introduction.
- Oversee the creation and submittal of ISIR’s/PPAP’s and other changes that affect the customer.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor Degree in Engineering (manufacturing, industrial, quality) required or equivalent.
· Two to three years of experience in a high volume manufacturing environment
· Warranty analysis experience preferred
· Strong computer skills
· Customer service skills
· Communication skills
· High Mechanical aptitude
