C#/WPF Developer – Investment Bank, Hong Kong recruitment
Working with a small group of developers, you will be responsible for the development of a suite of applications used for derivatives trade capture and straight through processesing within the vanilla and exotic Equity Derivatives business.
Job Description:-
- Development of the UI for the derivatives trading application
- Designing user interfaces using WPF
- Work closely with the trading desk and across locations to understand requirements
- Adding new design features as well as enhancing existing technology
- Contributing ideas to enhance the presentation layer
Skills Required:-
- Very strong client side development experience using C#/WPF
- Good knowledge of Agile development techniques, testing patterns and practices
- Strong knowledge of OO analysis and design as well as design patterns
- Any experience with UX Design Patterns would be highly desirable
- Knowledge of any server side technologies would also be useful but is not essential
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are mandatory for the position
This is an excellent opportunity to join a high profile team who are closely aligned to the business. Financial markets experience is not essential for this role, however a good understanding and appreciation of trading and investment banking is mandatory.
