Northrop Grumman Information Systems sector is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst Level 1 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Arlington, VA.
Where Technology and Teamwork come together... The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Pentagon's Cyber Security Team. Where qualified applicant will monitor and operate information systems within the Pentagon and the National Capital Region.
Roles and Responsibilities:
* Monitor Intrusion Detection Systems
* Develop and apply IDS (intrusion dection systems) policies and signatures
* Will create/recommend Computer Network Defense (CND) courses of action for intrusion findings amongst the IDS Team prior to escalation
* Will provide continuos feedback and recommendations for the different types of events that are detectedoles and Responsibilities Separately
Basic Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
* High School Diploma
* At least 2 years of Cyber Security Coursework from an accredited university
* 0-2 Years experience will be accepted in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree.
* Position requires a current Top Secret Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:
* Bachelor's Degree
* DoD 8570 Certification
* ArcSight
* Niksun (NetDetector)
* Position prefers a candidate with a current SCI Clearance
