Cyber Security Analyst

Description Summary

The main goal of an Industrial Control Systems (ICS) Security Analyst is a technical role is to implement corporate security standards, procedures, and appropriate tools to ensure the security of Industrial Control systems.
Must possess demonstrated broad range of technical expertise and must have experience with process control systems
This will require hands on technical skills in networks, servers, firewalls, and desktop applications
Will work and interact with other IT groups, Process Automation, Instrumentation, Lab, and Electrical groups within a 24/7 operating industrial facility

Key Responsibilities
Consistently maintain the confidentiality, integrity of the data/networking Infrastructure and handle cyber security related information
Will develop a comprehensive ICS security plan for the site and prioritize projects.
Will also develop and maintain a lifecycle plan for ICS network and computer infrastructure.
Will work with many different sites to develop and implement cyber security Support the (Management of Change) processes.
Maintain security patches, anti-virus software, and backup systems for ICS
Analyze documentation for the sites ICS Security systems and complete required documents for making changes
Manage and build relationships with vendors and all other personnel
Participate in ICS audits and Cyber Security Vulnerability Assessments (CSVA).

Requirements

Must have at least 6 years technical IT related experience.

Experience with the Process Control Systems / Industrial Control Systems environment is highly desirable

Must have Hands on experience with the configuration of servers and installation of server based applications/databases required.

Experience configuring network switches, firewalls, wireless access points, IOS, and related network protocols required.

Candidate must be assertive, high energy and posses a very good work ethic Ideal Match will possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and testing skills
Proven ability to effectively prioritize and execute multiple projects.
Must be able to work in a team-oriented environment.

Certifications

MCSE is preferred.

Networking related certifications preferred, like CCNA desired

Additional Notes
5% will be required. Mostly Houston area.
