This position reports directly to the Chief Security Officer of a publicly traded financial institution. The manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the Cyber Security Team and Security Operations Center in their day to day operations on a 24/7 basis. Manager will advise SVBFG on all security projects based on team recommendations. The Cyber Security Team will be responsible for reviewing all security aspects of new and proposed projects and initiatives. Must be able to create and deliver executive summary and technical reports to senior management. Manager will have authoritative sign off responsibilities on security request with approval from CSO. Manager will work closely with all managers in the Security Office, as well as lateral departments within SVBFG. Will coordinate penetration testing engagements on a on-going basis and deliver results for executive consumption. Must be able to deliver extremely technical reports to non-technical audiences. Must be able to create sound business cases for steering committee review and approval process. Must be able to create and manage department budgets. Work closely with CSIRT Manager in Lesson's Learned discussions.

Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of security processes for installation, management, monitoring and response of enterprise networks
Experience working in the finance industry and/or publicly traded organizations
Experience managing teams responding in a 24/7 environment
Experience in full life cycle information technology solution implementation from conceptualization, requirements, design and specification through development (coding), integration testing and commissioning
Demonstrate the ability to communicate clearly, to both technical and non-technical audiences, risks, threats, and vulnerabilities identified during assessments
Demonstrated understanding of TCP/IP networking
In depth experience with Information System Security (ISS), PKI, firewalls, intrusion detection/protection and related vulnerability assessment tools for network periphery and internal network/service discovery and topology mapping
Must have strong incident handling experience including knowledge of common probing and attack methods, network/service discovery, system auditing, viruses, and worms
Security testing of Enterprise networks through ethical hacking
Demonstrate strong understanding of Windows, networking, telephony and wireless security skills
