Cyber Software Engineer II
Job Description You will be supporting a state of the art worldwide warfighter collaboration system utilizing cutting edge technologies from MAC OSX, Windows, and Unix technologies to provide the customer with near real-time capabilities 365x24x7. The candidate should possess a comprehensive understanding of software development methodologies and the demonstrated ability to design and develop software systems. Ability to work within a large Development team Ability to develop and perform maintenance on existing software products. Ability to assist in coding, testing, and debugging new software or making enhancements to existing software. Ability to write programs according to specifications and design. Ability to create design documents and/or Requirement analysis Suggest solutions for addressing anomalies and/or software enhancements May assist in the development of user and installation manuals and work with technical staff to resolve and identify problems with software. Basic Qualifications: Must have a Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline and at least 4 years of experience must include the design, development Maintenance of software using C/C++ and/or Java in a Unix/Linux environment TS/SCI w/CI poly is required Preferred Qualifications: Experience with application development for Apple OSX platform Experience with Solaris 10 operating system Experience with web applications and document management systems Working knowledge of open-source software distributions and the open-source community Experience with Rational ClearCase source code management and ClearQuest defect tracking systems
