Cyber Systems Administrator 2 Job in San Diego, California Us

Airborne and Maritime Systems (AMS) develops, fields and sustains systems and infrastructures to connect disparate systems and enable network-centric operations. Major programs include Battlefield Airborne Communications Node (BACN), Common Link Integration Processing (CLIP) and JICO Support System (JSS).

Maintains smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network administrators. Evaluates vendor products. Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation of hardware and software. Develops and monitors Security policies and standards for operating systems. maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and OS. High level experience in Red Hat Linux and Windows Administration. Assist in developing security policy's and configuration material for Windows and Linux OS. Will be the OCONUS advisor/Liaison to the Information Assurance Manager. Willing to travel 50 to 75% of the time in harsh conditions, Military background preferred.

Years of experience are acceptable in lieu of a degree.

Basic Qualifications:

Typical Minimum Education / Experience: 3 Years with Bachelors; 1 Year with Masters
