Cyber Systems Engineer I
Job Description You will be supporting a state of the art worldwide warfighter collaboration system utilizing cutting edge technologies from MAC OSX, Windows, and Unix technologies to provide the customer with near real-time capabilities 365x24x7. Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. Basic Qualifications: * Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Sciences and Technology * At least four 4 years of experience as a System Engineer Preferred Qualifications: * A successful candidate will have experience with rapid prototyping methods, Apple Macintosh, COTS, UNIX, and wide area and local area network technologies to include TCP/IP, Ethernet, and DoD standard network/communication protocols.
