The successful candidate will have excellent credit analysis and research skills as well as strong experience in cash flow analysis/modelling within a banking environment. Excellent understanding and interpreting balance sheets, PL accounts and cash flows will be essential and experience working with automotive industry an added plus.
Your duties of the role will consist mainly of:
-To carry out thorough analysis of credit applications, in addition to preparing credit reports and recommendations to management so as to arrive to final decisions.
-If necessary, attend bank meetings or make on sight visits to gain a better understanding of the credit
-Monitor developments across specific industry sectors, identifying major risk factors and investigating any adverse developments that may affect clients and relaying it to senior management
-Conduct credit reviews and assess internal ratings on a regular and ad-hoc basis
-Liaise accordingly and provide guidance to the business side of all credit related matters
You will be educated to degree level in a business, economics or finance related field or equivalent (ACIB) and any additional credit/accountancy training or courses will be an added bonus. Fluency in using Microsoft Office is essential, in particular Excel as well as communication and presentation skills at all levels.
