The Food Design Platform is a team within ASIC, and you will have a key role in this brand new organisation. We work with new concepts and food forms across categories on a long-term horizon. When fully staffed, the Food Design Platform will be a cross-functional team of 15 people and encompass business, consumer, sensory and food formulation skills on locations in Aarhus, Denmark and Stockholm, Sweden.

 

Invent brand new and thought-through food forms

Joining a brand new global organisation as Dairy Innovation Development Manager, you will have a unique opportunity to develop new food forms and provide novelty to our consumers on an ongoing basis. Your main task will be to provide innovative solutions to salt, sugar and fat reductions, make reformulation programmes to remove additives and non-natural ingredients. Moreover, you will deliver formulation for new functional ingredients and design-to-value formulations. In this way, you are key in realising the needs and expectations of our consumers around the world. You will initiate, drive and facilitate the development projects for cross-category concepts and provide relevant and differentiated products with a documented sales potential. In addition, you will plan, complete, manage and document trials in a three phase process – from lab to pilot plant and finally on a commercial scale. Apart from that, you think ahead and come up with radical and yet profitable ideas for new food forms. All in all, you will contribute actively to boosting the innovation across categories on the global market. You can look forward to creating a strong network across the organisation, being a true partner to our external and internal stakeholders.

               

Food Scientist with a passion for food formulation

You hold a Master’s degree in Dairy Food Science or a comparable discipline, and your CV reflects solid experience in product development and food formulation - most likely from the international dairy industry. In addition, you have a track record of ensuring profitable implementation of ideas and solutions. Your innovative mindset is second to none, and you are used to operating in an international market. You have already shown that you are able to take your projects through the entire innovation process and to ensure the ultimate success of the project. Besides, you have developed a curious attitude, and you sell your ideas in a persuasive and convincing manner. You possess a good portion of persistency and self-reliance as well as excellent communication skills. To meet these challenges you must act and think as our consumers and, of course, be comfortable tasting new products. Lastly, you are proficient in English, and if you are familiar with one of the Scandinavian languages as well, it will be an advantage.
