Dairy Trader
I am working with a global leading trading house who are expanding their dairy platform. They are seeking a french speaking dairy powder trader with a strong network of clients across the producers to join their team.
Responsibilities for the position:
- Have connections with dairy industry for sourcing dairy powder products throughout European countries
- Sourced commodities will be exported worldwide
- Candidate will be responsible for some export trade himself to French speaking countries.
- Will involve local and outside traveling.
- Develop strong team generating profitable trading book across the European market.
- Provide risk management and strategy to an institutional customer base consisting of hedge funds, end users, producers, and trade houses.
- Responsible for building and developing new clients and business activities for the company as well as maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.
Skills - Attributes required for the role:
- 5+ years experience in the dairy markets (powder export)
- Strategic agility, Entrepreneurship, Strong leadership skills
- Proven track record and strong PnL
- Strong connections across the European dairy market
- Solid academics
- Fluent in French and English
- Willing to locate in Switzerland
