Data Analysis Technician
L-3 STRATIS has a great opportunity for candidate who would like who is trying got obtain an entry level job as a Data Analyst. In this role you'll process and analyze confidential employment and wage data from large businesses who participate in a government monthly and quarterly survey. The data will be received through different electronic means including diskette, spreadsheets or direct file transfer. The applicant will work to format incoming files according to government specifications. Once data is properly formatted, you will check for employment and wage fluctuations from past reports and perform data editing and data review for unusual employment and wage patterns using government editing standards and guidelines. You will also interpret data error messages and correct problem data utilizing government research resources. Significant fluctuations in data will be discussed with the survey respondent in order to determine the cause for changes in the collected information the data will then be transferred to export holding tables via the government software. This position requires you to spend a significant amount of time each day in analysis, research and investigation of data. You will be required to complete assignments and meet customer's monthly and quarterly production goals and deadlines.
