Job Title:    Data Analyst – Mobile
Reports To:    Manager, Mobile Analytics

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Mobile Data Analyst role requires a detail-oriented person with interest in mobile application data analysis, production processes, and client reporting. This position is responsible for identifying and classifying new mobile applications while maintaining and improving existing classification methodologies. This is a key position in the Mobile Research team with excellent growth and advancement potential.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·  Analyze the top mobile applications and ensure that these mobile applications are classified in the comScore dictionary on a regular basis.

·  Proactively identify future QA and classification improvements, working with cross-functional teams to employ initiatives to validate and improve the quality of our mobile application reports.

·  Extract, manipulate, and analyze datasets from internal data warehouse and other databases on an ad hoc and custom basis. Investigate and report on key findings to senior management.

·  Provide assistance and answer inquiries regarding mobile application data collection and classification methods in conjunction with our client services team or other departments as requested.

·  Focus on issue resolution and follow-up.

QUALIFICATIONS

·  Minimum Bachelor's degree with strong quantitative focus such as Economics, Statistics, Behavioral Sciences, etc.

·  Experience in data analysis and problem solving with large amounts of data is preferred.

·  Experience with SQL Server and SQL coding, data manipulation and extraction a plus.

·  Experience with mobile behavioral data or analysis of data collected from internet server logs or consumer panels a plus.

·  Good communication skills to coordinate qualitative and production activities across multiple teams.

·  Self-starter, highly motivated, and able to multitask across projected and priorities.

·  Adaptable person who can deal with rapidly changing requirements.
