Data Analyst (Band 5)
My client, a large organisation in Port Talbot is looking for a finance analyst to join their team on a 6 month temporary contract.
The successful Financial Analyst duties will include;
Conducting and documenting moderate to complex financial analysis projects, preparing financial and business related analysis and research in such areas as financial and expense performance, budgeting, costing, rate of return, depreciation, working capital, and/or sales activity, preparing forecasts and analysis of trends in sales, finance, general business conditions and other related areas and generate monthly and quarterly reports for departments internally. Duties will also include responding to pricing requests by preparing pricing models and communicating pricing to Sales management, develop pricing grids for product and services sold and/or leased and perform duties under limited supervision, applying a broad knowledge of principles, practices and procedures.
The successful candidate will have completed/part completed formal accounting qualification, have enthusiasm for and experience in working in a large organisation, good analytical skills, ingenuity and original thinking and proficient use of excel spreadsheet analysis
