Data Analyst, E-Commerce – Web Analytics, Business Intelligence, Decision Science
The Data Analyst will be responsible for the reporting and analytical efforts of the Ecommerce team. You will be analyzing quantitative and qualitative data sets to glean insights regarding website traffic, site usability, usage behavior, category and product click-through and conversation, and other metrics. You will also be developing and improving reports and dashboards as well as take charge of all things web analytics ( i.e. web data capture implementation, methodologies, business processes) and decision-making (i.e AB testing, usability labs, etc)
Location: New Jersey, USA
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, improve, and maintain daily, weekly, monthly dashboards and reports across the ecommerce business
- Create and complete the AB and multivariate testing present test analysis and recommendations
- Closely collaborate with BI and IT teams to improve visibility of ecommerce business data
- Perform ad hoc projects and analysis for business problems and present findings and recommendations
Qualifications:
- Minimum BS; MBA preferred
- Min 2-3 years experience within ecommerce retailer
- Min 2-3 years experience with business intelligence tools (Microstrategy preferred for reports/dashboards)
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of Google Analytics, Omniture, CoreMetrics, etc
- Experience with AB and multivariate testing, competitive analysis
- Experience with search engine optimization (SEO) or marketing (SEM), retargeting, display, etc
- Computer skills: Excel, Access, Powerpoint
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
