My client is looking for a strong data analyst to support the delivery of business performance and market information for the team in Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Your main focus will be working with the sales and revenue data, assisting in the dev elopement of tools, databases, programs and low end applications to produce reports as well as providing intelligence and analysis on reporting trends and market information.
Main duties include
- Technical Activities such as collecting, storing, manipulating and distributing data from corporate systems in support of data analysis and reporting
- Generating scheduled reporting
- Evaluating and analyzing results and trends
- Assisting with testing reports/processes as and when required
- Communicating closely with various teams and vendors
- Attending meetings
- Developing and maintenance contribution of the database by maintaining accurate account and customer records as well as identifying where improvements can be made
Required Qualifications
- Experience with business analytics and data processing, data management and report development
- Advanced Excel, Word, Access
- VBA Experience
- SQL knowledge
- Excellent communicating
- The ability to not only be a number cruncher but also be able to give a strong analysis on figures
- The ability to manage a large work load and stick to deadlines
Good to have
- Sales, hospitality or hotel experience with experience on the hospitality systems such as DMPE, Opera, IDeaS, CRM, Fidelio
- VB.Net or other programming language experience
- Relevant university degree with course work in business administration
- Customer service experience within a corporate environment
