A Banking Client of Practicus based in Scotland is looking to improve their ability to service their customers better by providing accurate/new products in a far more efficient process via their ecommerce channels, call centres and branches. In order to provide this service, the Bank requires investment in their technology and infrastructure to support this demand and will require the IT department to take ownership of its delivery whilst working closely with the business stakeholders. This change programme is looking to provide all relevant customer and organisational data to flow through the Terradata Database they have in house to the Chordiant Decision Manager (Customer Decisioning System) providing real time next best action strategies to allow the correct data to be analysed and fed through the appropriate system to the relevant business unit.
Practicus are therefore looking to welcome to the community a Data Analyst, who will form part of the project team to be deployed in Scotland. The Data Analyst's key responsibilities will be to steer and assist the Project Managers so the project data migration approach aligns with the business requirements. They will need to understand the full end to end solution in order to act as a one point of contact for Project Managers and other project resources. They will be required to understand the technical scope of delivery and assist with the initial data analysis to ensure there is a correct roadmap for the delivery of data into the Teradata environment. They will liaise with other technical specialists on other Teradata projects to understand overlapping requirements.
So the Data Analyst will have experience of:
- Acting as a Technical SME within an infrastructure environment
- A solid understanding of Teradata, Chrodiant Decision Manager
- Excellent communication skills with both techincal and non technical stakeholders
- Excellent understanding of end to end solutions
- Strong Retail Banking experience
