Title: Data Analyst Location: null Other Locations: null CIBER is seeking a candidate to perform analysis of dealership sales and vehicle registration data. This individual will identify improvement opportunities in existing processes, and create new ones as needed, in order to effectively communicate the performance of the network/dealerships. The individual in this position will be expected to process, audit and maintain dealership sales and registration data using SQL Server and other Microsoft software. They will also be required to leverage their technical skills and analytical ability to deliver reports and ad-hoc requests for our clients in a timely manner. Responsibilities: * Create various ad-hoc reports. * Focus on creating new, and improving existing, processes to effectively communicate data from various sources such as dealership sales and vehicle registrations, etc. * Plan, organize, develop and deliver requested projects and ad-hoc requests within in prescribed time schedule. * Use SQL Server to extract and manipulate data by writing queries, joining data sources, etc. * Track, process, maintain, analyze and audit data using Microsoft products. * Adhere to quality control standards. * One to three years work experience in an Operations Department or equivalent is preferred. * SQL Server experience is required / SSIS experience is preferred. * Microsoft Word, Access and Excel skills are required. * Ability to prioritize to competing demands, manage multiple concurrent tasks and adapt to changing priorities. * Ability to collaborate, possess team orientation, and have dedication to meeting and exceeding the expectations of other team members. * Strong organization skills and attention to detail. * College level math skills and solid mathematical grounding required. * Knowledge of basic descriptive statistics - skills to execute simple statistical analysis software program and create scatter plots, bar charts and histograms. * Knowledge of relational database fundamentals, including creating and executing queries, creating scripts, importing/exporting data, and manipulating data. * Written communication skills necessary to effectively communicate ideas in a clear, concise manner at a level appropriate for the audience. * Baccalaureate degree in a technical field (engineering, applied math, computer science, applied science, MIS, or other).
