Data Analyst

The candidate will support contracting and administrative needs for accounts managed with the IDM Regional / IDN Contract Development Team. The candidate will provide this support across all the Regional Teams, working with both Analysts and Contract Managers gathering contractual data, responding to inquiries, using analytical tools/skills to evaluate contracting opportunities, measure business results and other projects as assigned. The candidate must demonstrate a customer service attitude and willingness to learn, as well as effective communication skills; ability to make the complex simple. The candidate must have the ability to multi-task and prioritize within their work scope and operate effectively and efficiently in both solo and team modes. They will support key departmental projects and administrative activities by utilizing business knowledge, systems, as well as project management skills. Regularly communicate in all directions to keep associates, peers and management informed of project status, deadlines and opportunities.

The candidate must have basic skills in problem solving, project management, data stewardship, relationship management, and system/application management. Candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures as necessary.
Qualifications

A Bachelors Degree is required. A minimum of 3 years professional experience required. Healthcare contracting experience and previous experience working at *** are preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required. Strong analytical and organizational skills. Must have the ability to work independently at times. Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and manage conflicting priorities and meet deadlines and deliverables. Demonstrated skills in: Problem solving and data stewardship. Proven strong analytical skills are required with the ability to extract information from several systems and present detailed data in a clear concise manner that allows management to make strategic decisions. Good decision making skills and relationship building skills are required. Strong computer skills and knowledge of Word, Access, Excel, Database Mgmt, Outlook etc. Experience with SOP's and familiarity with ***contracting systems (INTERACT, CARS/IS, TRIM), is preferred.
