Data Analyst
Job Description Qualified Data Analyst will work as a member of the Data Quality team, providing data content analysis and data quality verification activities. Specific tasks may involve: · Profile single or multi-data source data sets to detect patterns or identifying inconsistencies · Supporting end-to-end test activities, ensuring data fidelity is maintained across data transformation layers and providing explanation for discrepancies · Responding to data analysis and data quality investigation requests · Developing or enhancing data dictionary or source to target mapping documents Skills · 5 or more years of strong analytical and problem solving skills, with emphasis on data analysis · Strong knowledge of SQL and Excel · Prior experience as data analyst business intelligence, data integration, master data management, or data migration · Ability to rapidly understand business requirements and communicate business expectations to cross-functional development teams · Skills to gather and document requirements using process flows, use cases, interviews, workshops, and investigation of current state business rules · Ability to assemble, analyze and evaluate data and to be able to make appropriate and well-reasoned recommendations and decisions to the stakeholders and the software engineering team · Experience with data quality assessment, cleansing, and improvement efforts · Experience with data profiling or cleansing tools · Effective communication skills Randstad Technologies is an EOE-M/F/V/D and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Randstad Holding nv, an $18.8 billion global provider of professional employment services and the second largest staffing organization in the world.
