Data Analyst/Data Architect recruitment

Candidate must possess excellent database design and development skills working with either Sybase or DB2 and should have experience in designing/building effective data warehouse/data mart solutions. Candidate must also be proficient in using business intelligence, data mining, data modeling or general data analysis tools, such as OLAP, CA Erwin and Microsoft Access. Candidate should have in-depth experience working with financial data types, attributes and relationships.

Individual must be self-starter and able to work within a large team. Individual must possess strong analytical skills and should be prepared to step up into a lead role if the opportunity arises. Above all else, individual must be an excellent communicator.

The role is in the Regulatory IT group to assist aid in the ongoing development of the firm’s global capital calculators and disclosure generation systems, in support of Basel I, II and III as well as the firm’s shift to Federal Reserve regulation. Individual will be responsible for owning/maintaining the Regulatory data models and communicating/negotiating proposed changes with its data providers within the firm. Will work closely with other team members responsible for separate components, as well as with the Controller user community.
