Data Analyst/MI Analyst recruitment
My client is currently seeking an experience Data/MI Reporting Analyst to assist in the provision of timely and accurate data extracts. The role requires the analysis and will allow you to gain an in-depth understanding of Claims and underwriting to enable you to business partner the divisions effectively.
The client is a highly established city based insurance business with a great history of internal promotion and development, the roles have come about due to increased head count and the companies need for departmental Management information and analysis.
The client is seeking a Data Analyst with strong Access and Excel skills with some knowledge of VBA and the Lloyds market to assist in a number of areas, these include:
Internal Reporting - assisting in the production of ad-hoc reporting and the provision of data and updating of database systems.
Business Knowledge - develop an understanding of the classes of business written within the division and to be aware of the business plan.
Documentation - ensure comprehensive instructional documentation is maintained for all areas of responsibility.
Process Improvement - assist with or have responsibility for automation of reporting processes as directed, provide regular updates and seeking guidance from the manager or senior analysts.
To be considered for this position you will require a minimum of:-
* Strong Access and Excel experience and SQL
* Knowledge of the Insurance Market, Lloyds exposure preferred
* Strong Data extraction, manipulation and presentation skills
