DATA AND BUSINESS SERVICES SUPPORT COORDINATOR
Job Description: The Data Business Services Support Coordinator is responsible for the intake, receipting and securing of Class Action client data. This position must have an understanding of data file formats and the ability to work well under pressure and adhere to strict timelines. This role will be a liaison between the Operations and Data Business Services Support departments coordinating and prioritizing tasks on a daily basis. Accountable for all client data involved in the support and operation of Class Action cases. 2. Responsible for copying and securing original source data files on company file share received by e-mail, physical media and FTP. 3. Evaluates data files and ensures they are in a viable state for loading into company databases. 4. Ensures the data files meet the specified requirements. 5. Responsible for receipting, scanning and securing all forms of paper copies and reports containing client data. 6. Responsible for scanning accompanying documentation such as envelopes and invoices into a PDF format. 7. Responsible for logging client data in company Data Log application and ensuring file counts and control totals are correct. 8. Participate in company office meetings regarding client data and data compliance procedures. 9. Coordinate and work with company vendors for the exchange of client data. 10. Coordinate data exchange operations in a timely manner between Case Consultant and Data Team. 11. Work with Computershare Tech Support when needed. 12. Responsible for obtaining Data Prep Request (DPR) from Case Consultant and make available to Data Analyst. 13. Design and manage â ?¬Å"electronicâ ?¬ white board of class action cases on SharePoint. 14. Assist in prioritizing of cases by working w/ Case Consultants and Data Analysts. 15. Create standard email templates for D.I.C correspondence. 16. Maintain FTP adhoc requests for Case Consultants. 17. Manage Class Action Mailbox. 18. Maintain the highest confidentiality when working with client data and client information. 19. Take on administrative tasks for Data Business Services Support as needed. Qualifications: 1. Working knowledge of office productivity software, including Microsoft products such as Word Excel. 2. Knowledge of various file formats such as Excel, Word, Access, Text Files, PDF and Zip. 3. Capability to secure, log, receipt and track client data and make recommendations to improve and streamline data intake and receipting needs. 4. Ability to understand the nature and flow of Class Action operations and apply it to job functions. 5. Extreme attention to detail. 6. Ability to work with companyâ ?¬ -s various external vendors for exchange of data. 7. Must possess some technical knowledge to work in FTP environments and with FTP client software. 8. Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. 9. Must be able to work cross functionally within the organization and with vendors to enhance systems and processes, and intake data from a variety of sources. 10. Ability to make appropriate and timely decisions while prioritizing. 11. Ability to maintain information confidential in nature.
