Premier Financial firm in NJ is looking for a Data Architect/Modeler

Summary
Provide leadership and technical expertise in the development and implementation of trading data architecture and models. Govern the systems development process from a data perspective. Translate business information requirements into logical and system specifications. Evangelize data's role in creating excellent systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Partners with business analysts to:
- model events
- capture and analyze business needs and information requirements vis-a-vis data
- model and design logical and physical databases; and
- define optimum data and system requirements to meet business needs
Partners with management to:
- Expose, prioritize, and manage new data requirements and refactoring opportunities
- Evangelize and communicate the value of good data throughout the department and organization
Governs the systems development process from a data perspective; eliminate or minimize technical distortion of the logical data model
Ensures users' fast, accurate, and robust access to data
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's Degree with 7+ years data architecture and/or modeling experience
5+ years experience in data warehouse modeling and design (Kimball preferred)
2+ years experience in entity-relationship modeling and design
2+ years experience with security master, counter-party, and portfolios
Other Skills and Abilities
- Work effectively in a fast paced and demanding environment
- Be a self-starter who is able to quickly anticipate needs and issues and manage them
