Data Business Analyst – Fund Manager
Business Analyst / Data Modeller / Data Analyst is required by a leading London-based Fund Manager.
This role is to work within the IT Architecture team providing data centric business and data analysis services to support business and/or technical change primarily, but not solely, relating to change impacting the Core Platform. It will also involve interpreting business requirements with regards to their impact on the current data architecture and producing analysis for projects and/or smaller initiatives. The successful candidate will be expected to challenge thinking and innovate.
There is a very large volume and variety of work ahead for this team and this role will allow the successful candidate to considerably develop their skillset in many ways.
- Good Data Analysis / Data Modelling / Business Analysis experience
- Fantastic communication skills and stakeholder management skills
- Good SQL skills and ability to analyse data using Excel
- Logical Data Modelling and Physical Data Modelling experience
- Structured analysis techniques such as UML
- Fund Management experience (if not, then a top tier organisation of some kind, ideally financial services)
- Background in technology useful e.g. development/database design
- Ability to contribute to the BA community regarding the development and deployment of data analysis best practice and methods
- Conceptual Data Modelling experience
