Data Business Analyst
To act as a Business Analyst and Subject Matter Expert regards ICON Positions and Transactions. To provision Positions and Transactions data, currently extracted and routed from the FDW via CADIS, to downstream consuming client systems.
The candidate will be required to compare, contrast and rationalise existing fund and investment accounting transaction and valuation data extracts across different investment fund types, legacy systems and investment clients, particularly derivatives and complex financial investment products.
The end product of this analysis will be output files in a standard format, compliant with the downstream consuming systems input expectations.
Analysis and validation of data and business requirements, working with the client to clarify the correct interpretation and gain client signoff.
Liaising with product managers and other ICON SME`s for clarification on the design of Middle Office services within the division
Working with IT data architects to design and create a strategic solution to the data provisioning needs of the client
Agreeing and assisting with the creation of Business procedures
Communicating and reporting effectively with all stakeholders, users and team members, providing regular reassurance regarding progress and taking control of potential conflicts of interest and priorities between business groups.
Creating test and migration plans as well as orchestrating and executing these plans in conjunction with IT and users
Constructively raising key issues and risks on projects particularly in regard to operational and data integrity issues.
