Data Centre Architect (VP) – Top-tier Investment Bank recruitment

Responsibilities:

Design and implementation of new Data Centres
Responsible for data center architect, build out, roadmap and capacity management
Data Centre virtualisation, consolidation and migration
Develop and implement regional Data Centre strategy
Develop and implement data centre processes and standards globally
Development and planning of delivery chain and vendor relationship systems
Business case and budget development and presentations to business as well as senior management teams
Plan and budget for the unit and staffing requirements to meet the organization's needs, based on both short-term and long-term performance objectives
Ensure that all relevant and applicable policies and standards governing Data Center operations
Provide constant reviews and feedback on areas of potential risks and threats to identify these risk elements and take appropriate corrective and/or preventive measures.

Requirements:

Degree holder with minimum 9 years of relevant IT experience in financial institution, preferably in an investment bank
Experience of building up new data centre, architect, location selection, capacity management etc
Strong analytical skills, with leadership quality and demonstrate ability to conceptualize and clearly communicate the findings, both verbally and in writing
Assertive, ambitious and enthusiastic in achievement of high quality standards
Excellent communication skills and the ability to deal independently with people at various levels.
