Data Centre expert
My client is a market-leading IT distributor with a wealth of experience in delivering complex enterprise solutions to businesses through key reseller partners. They represent some of the most respected vendors in the servers, storage, networking and virtualisation space, including Cisco, Juniper, Netgear and HP to name a few.
Due to significant revenue growth on these portfolios, they are looking to recruit a data centre expert with a deep understanding of the DC marketplace and an understanding of the key products available.
This role will be focussed primarily on designing and implementing solutions based on the Cisco portfolio and as such, a CCNA/CCNP accreditation would be beneficial. However, Cisco product knowledge is not essential and they will also consider candidates who have similar experience with other data centre products such as HP.
Good communication skills and previous customer-facing experience is essential as a large part of this role will be working both with reseller partners and directly with their customers. You should have a minimum of 3 years' data centre and virtualisation experience, along with experience of delivering technical product training.
