A leading, globally financial services organisation is looking to recruit to data centre technician to work across their two London and one Bromley based data centres. My client is in a period of transition and is recruiting extensively as they expand over the course of 2013.
This is a brand new position and will be taking over from the server support team who have been looking after the data centres previously. You will initially start as the sole technician but there are plans for build a team around the successful candidate in the near future.
As the data centre technician you will be responsible for the following:
* Cabling
* Racking
* Power delivery and resilience
* Security
* Documentation
* Monitoring, reporting and capacity management of all services
* Producing detailed and accurate documentation
To be considered for this role you must have experience working as a data centre technician and have covered all of the above responsibilities. This role will require you to grown into a management position quickly and have the communication, organisation and time management skills to manage the day to day data centre activities and help to improve overall services.
This is a fantastic chance to join an established company and work with the very best technology. You will be will be covered two data centres in London and one in Bromley (15mins by train from Victoria) and be able to spend time in both of these locations.
