Data Cleansing Lead recruitment

 Responsibilities include:

The following activities will be performed:

• Identify current source data required for the ‘to-be’ solution

• Identify source data owners and stewards

• Define fit-for-purpose data standards and agree with appropriate business stakeholders

• Profile key datasets against fit-for-purpose definition to assess remediation effort

• Develop data remediation approach/plan and agree with appropriate business stakeholders

• Source data - target data mapping

• Develop data governance process and agree with appropriate business stakeholders

• Plan and co-ordinate/ conduct of the data mapping/conversion required between legacy systems and the new system

• Manage the cleansing of data as required and the collection of any manual data required

• Manage the data governance model and implementation

• Ensure that any pre-conversion/ migration data cleansing takes place prior to the test cycles commencing, and ensuring that all supplied files are consistent with newly required formats

• Preparation of legacy system extracts, conversion routines and specifications for load programs, including reconciliation checks, between legacy and new systems in readiness for cutover testing, integration testing, parallel runs and cutover to the new system

Skills Required

• Demonstrate  strong experience  in data governance, data management, data compliance and data cleansing

• Proactive and enthusiastic, with strong communication skills

• Ability to interact with senior management and challenge where necessary

• Strong analysis skills and good attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team

• Understanding of e-Procurement would be advantageous
