The Data team provide services to both financial services and corporate clients. This current requirement sits within our Financial Services team. We are seeking ambitious and energised client facing Manager/Senior Managers who have a track record of operating in the Financial Services Industry and possess extensive capital markets experience.
Senior Managers will be involved in a large amount of business development leveraging off a network of clients that you have already generated in this sector. With a strong track record of working with external clients or consulting internally to senior business stakeholders, you will offer solutions and value add propositions whilst managing, strengthening and broadening key client relationships. You will also have the opportunity to be involved in high impact work from the start and play an integral part in driving client relationships forward to maintain and grow this successful practice. Backed by a supportive Partner Group, you will have a critical and visible role in a team with strong identity, leadership and direction. The ideal candidate will have experience of working in both industry and management consulting, however candidates from exclusively one of these backgrounds will still be considered providing they have solid experience in this sector.
Your skills, experience and qualifications will ideally include:
Essential Skills:
- Extensive Capital Markets experience.
- Experience and knowledge of middle and back office functions either as part of consultancy or a financial institution.
- Knowledge of one of the following elements: equity, securities, repo or operational analysis.
- Proven track record of developing Counterparty Credit exposure models (PFE / EPE) across a diverse product range with a practitioner level understanding of Monte-Carlo simulations, Risk aggregation and model calibration technique.
- The ability to develop solutions and value adding propositions and take these to market.
- The ability to manage a strong industry network, identify and convert sales opportunities and lead the sales process.
- Experience of managing, strengthening and broadening key client relationships.
- The ability to work on your own initiative and in many different and challenging environments.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, business writing and professional skills, including being able to liaise with both technical and business contacts at our clients.
- The ability to determine client needs by supplementing the standard assessment techniques and tools with innovative approaches.
- Strong leadership skills.
You will also possess a combination of the below skills:
- Delivering a broad range of data engagements in areas such as Data Architecture, Data Integration, Data Analytics, Data Governance and Data Quality.
- Working with a range of data tools for example, DataFlux, Datanomic, Trillium, Teradata, Informatica, SQL, Access / Excel, VBA.
- Degree and / or relevant professional qualification and / or significant relevant consulting/ industry expertise.
