Data Governance & Controls Analyst

A leading top tier Global Retail Bank are currently seeking 2x Data Governance and Controls Analysts to support the Data Management Team in setting up new control methods and governance models.
The candidates will need to have similar experience from within Financial Services or a large corporate environment.

Main duties:
Responsibility for the Control monitoring of BAU data activities, Data Quality initiatives and change management undertaken by the Data Quality teams that support Finance and structural systems. To deliver the required results they will need to be able to demonstrate excellent stakeholder management and co ordination skills, across the Bank, whilst ensuring the agreed Control model is maintained.

The role will deliver:
Monitoring and control over the bank direction for the UK Data Quality Teams for Finance Structural data
Management of service assurance between business divisions
Coordination of Data Quality activities .
Creation of packs, metrics, reports, and dashboards to illustrate Data Quality team performance and issues identified
Incident and fix management and reporting
BAU Change Management and delivery of Initiatives using DQ resource.

Essential Skills:
Confident and practised communicator, with excellent stakeholder management skills, internally and externally.
Project and Change Management experience.
Experience of managing Data Governance and Data Quality controls, including Accounting/Financial Controls, Risk Controls, MI and Dashboard reporting
Operational understanding of Risk reporting/data, and Financial/data reporting.
Detailed knowledge of the wide range of Financial Services Products
