Data Lead Data Lead, Cardinal Health, Dublin OH. Provide technical leadership in the software development and maintenance process for projects. Ensure the stabilization of the application by co-coordinating various releases. Develop strategies for Extraction, Transformation and Loading (ETL) mechanism-using technologies like Informatica and Data Stage. Apply understanding of Integration components such as IBM Message Broker, MQ Series. Responsible for Quality Control with the Databases and ETL jobs. Analyze and understand the data needs for the testing process in QC and co-ordinate. Work on the DB2, Oracle, SQL server databases. Apply understanding of IBM Commerce out of box Data Model. Apply understanding of Endeca Architecture and its integration with IBM Commerce and IBM Portal technologies. Work with Mobile Point Sales tool. Establish an on-going process to maintain quality data and defining quality audit processes. Develop Test plans and Test Strat egies. Use tools such as DBVisulaizer, Toad, PL/SQL Developer. Identify and leverage opportunities to improve the quality management processes, systems, and standards. Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs. Use enterprise-wide requirements definition, management systems and methodologies. Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver the artifacts as needed. Profile and use quality tools and various data sources in order to determine causes of quality issues. Handle multiple projects and coordinate project schedules. Apply innovative and strategic thinking, and demonstrate success implementing solutions that result in measurable business benefits. Requires MS degree in IT or Computer Science plus 24 months experience in application support and ETL development and testing, with ETL tools (e.g. Informatica, Data Stage) and testing tools (e.g. ClearQuest, Mercury Quality Center). In the alternative, employer will accept BS degree plus 60 months of information technology experience, including at least 48 months with ETL tools and testing tools, 30 months in ETL development and testing, and 24 months in application support. Also requires demonstrated knowledge of Object Oriented Development.
