Data Loss Protection Specialist – Dell, Inc.
Dell Services is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. We are currently looking for a Data Loss Protection Specialist to join our team in Plano, Texas.
Job Responsibilities:
The Data Loss Protection (DLP) Specialist will be responsible for the design, implementation, configuration and support of DLP solutions for Dell Services and its clients. Additional responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Design architecture for Data Loss Protection solutions
- Implement DLP solutions in a customer environment
- Provide operational support of DLP environment.
- Detect security issues, create customer tickets and manage problems until closure.
- Coordinate escalations and collaborate with internal technology teams to ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Ensure that Service Level Agreements are met.
- Perform system maintenance and maintain current documentation.
- Provide resolution plans for device issues.
- Propose process and technical improvements to management.
Qualifications
Required Skills:
Must have experience providing continuous support and expertise of the following:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Experience with Code Green Networks TrueDLP
- Experience with McAfee’s DLP solution
- Experience with Symantec’s Vontu DLP solution
- Windows operating systems
- Internet connectivity and protocols (TCP/IP)
- Enterprise Security Information Management systems
- Networking knowledge and experience
- Investigative and analytical problem solving skills
- Effective oral and verbal communications skills
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Strong troubleshooting, reasoning and problem solving skills
- Team player with the ability to work autonomously
- Passion for the job and desire to learn
Desired Experience:
- Experience with Blue Coat and Websense content filtering solutions
- Experience with Symantec Antivirus and Symantec Endpoint Protection
- Experience with McAfee VirusScan, ePolicy Orchestrator v3.6x and 4.x
- Experience with McAfee Host Intrusion Prevention or Symantec Host Intrusion Detection
- Experience with Encryption software (PGP or McAfee SafeBoot)
- Ability to conduct in-depth forensic analytical studies and investigations
Desired Skills:
- Understanding of large IT environments and their organizational structures
- Experience with project management disciplines
Minimum Educational Requirements:
- BS in Computer Information Systems desirable
Minimum Certifications or Other Professional Credentials:
- Certifications in CISSP, CCSP/CCNP, CEH are also desirable
