Data Management Analyst – Investment Technology Services recruitment
Within the Data Management team, the Analyst will be responsible for supporting the preparation of Data Management processes and procedures necessary for the successful implementation of the Charles River IMS and associated internal systems. This will include contributing to defining procedures for the maintenance of reference data within Charles River and implementing data quality checking processes. The Analyst will also assist the project team through the final stages of the implementation.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Maintenance of reference data in Charles River IMS in line with agreed procedures
- Daily checking and updating the rules based “Value Add Database” within the Reference Data Service to support the implementation
- Investigating data discrepancies within CRD and the external data quality checking system
- Preparing and maintaining the business procedures to support the Investment Management teams with the successful implementation of CRIMS and the associated technologies over the lifecycle of the project
- Documenting the requirements for the maintenance of data directly in Charles River to support the successful implementation
- Working within established time frames to support the multiple phases of the implementation
The successful candidate will need to have the following experience and skills:
- Knowledge of the Charles River IMS and strong data experience
- Understanding of the data requirements for the accurate creation / maintenance of security types including CDS’s, IRS’s, short term money market instruments, derivatives and corporate / government debt
- An understanding of the requirements for data workflows and the process to support data management activities across multiple offices
- Experience of data quality management
- Data analysis skills to proactively manage the data requirements
- SQL skills would be desirable but not essential
