Data Management Analyst recruitment

The successful candidate will work within the Data Management Group of Singapore Operations and will be responsible for the quality of reference and pricing data for instruments, brokers, holiday calendar and some accounts in our systems. reference and pricing data for instruments, brokers, holiday calendar and some accounts in our systems.

The team provides operational and project support to the Singapore and regional businesses across all asset type and needs to interact with the businesses located in APAC as well as other operations teams in APAC and worldwide.

Key tasks and responsibilities include:

• 2 to 3 years of banking experience in a reference data team supporting APAC business is required

• Knowledge of set up of instruments and maintenance of reference data in various systems  is required

• Static data knowledge of fixed income and equities is required.

• Specific in depth knowledge of Australian bonds, Dim Sum bonds and, CDS , CDI swaps is required in terms of static and pricing

• Knowledge of data vendor such as Bloomberg, Telekurs. Need to know the main static data queries

• Perform quality controls to ascertain the accuracy of instruments reference data

• Ensure pricing data consistency in the accounting system as well as some downstream

• Take ownership of instruments reference and pricing issues for the region and provide comprehensive resolution to the business

• Have a critical mindset and apply it to resolve data related issues.

• Work in compliance with operational risk guidelines and audit requirements

Requirements:

Our ideal candidates should have the following requisites:

• Knowledge of VBA and SQL is a plus

• Knowledge of Sophis

• Bachelor in finance,/ corporate finance or economy
