- Knowledge of .NET
- SQL and Stored Procedures
- DTS/SSIS/SSRS
- Knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL a plus
- Business Objects a plus
- Good team management skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Thorough, detail-orientated and organised with the ability to make decisions
- Experience in handling projects independently from start to finish and to deliver to deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to present and explain technical information
Experience:
- Minimum 4 years in a team lead role
- 5+ years of professional experience with Machine Learning and Data mining research. Experience in algorithm development and statistical analysis of massive datasets and events
- Strong working knowledge of data mining algorithms including decision trees, pattern classification and recognition, probability networks, association rules, clustering, regression, support vector machine, artificial intelligence and neural networks
- Strong analytical background, especially with semi-structured data
- Proven ability to balance probability and statistical theory and algorithms science with pragmatic problem solving skills, and a track record of developing and applying advanced predictive algorithms and behaviour models to solve real world problems on financial data
- Familiarity with database modelling and data warehousing principles
- Minimum 2 years in an level 3 support role
- Financial industry experience
- Experience working with a high pressure environment
