Data Manager recruitment
An international commodity trading organisation are currently recruiting for a Data Manager sitting within their Finance Transformation area to be based in their stunning London offices. This position has recently been created to help manager their growth and continuous change of the company. The Data Manager will be tasked with the development and implementation of a Data Management Framework which will facilitate the efficient operation of the business. Further responsibilities will consist of:
• Provide Management Information and decision support
• Design and implementation of processes and procedures for the maintenance of business data
• Design and implementation of effective knowledge management of business Data
• Convene a Data Governance Board comprised of senior business leaders
• Engage with key business stakeholders to enrol them in the concepts of Data Ownership
The successful candidate will be able to understand business issues from a data perspective and will have experience of coordinating complex projects. The ability to cope with rapid business growth and a pressurised environment is also very important. The ideal candidate will have exposure to commodities deal lifecycle management and an understanding of Confirmations, Invoicing and Settlements Market Data Feeds and Curve Management.
