The successful candidate will be responsible for database design and implementation as well as programming consistency checks and related queries. This individual in part, helps develop overall strategy of clinical data acquisition and processing in the clinical development stages of a drug, biologic product, or medical device by performing the following duties.

Key Responsibilities:

*Manages overall clinical data processing, including database design, data tracking, document processing and data listings under minimum supervision
*Manages the Database setup / Data Entry Screens / Data Validation tools under minimum supervision
*Contributes to maintain data validation on a clinical study under minimum supervision and in collaboration with Global Project Coordinator
*Contributes to development of programs as required
*Communicates with Data Management and project management staff regarding team needs and anticipates logistical needs
*Serves as contact person and ensures Data Management deliverables on the project
*Coordinates resources, processes and documentation to meet critical timelines
*Ensures compliance to standard operating procedures and guidelines
*Contributes to the development of new processes and standards
*Other as required

Experience

*Bachelor's degree (preferably in a health related field) or experience in a health related field
*Diploma in Computer Programming or experience in a position where SQL or SAS programming was required
*Combinations of education and experience will be considered
*At least two years experience in SAS programming language or at least two years experience in programming language (SQL, PL / SQL)
*At least one year experience with relational database concepts
*Ability to synthesize information and use intuition and experience to solve problems
*Demonstrate very good attention to detail, accuracy and thoroughness
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to present numeric data effectively
*Works well under pressure and can ensure smooth delivery of project in a positive team environment
*Excellent computer skills.

Salary will be commensurate with education, experience, skills knowledge.
