Are you interested in working for the Largest Aircraft Manufacturer in Washington State?
As a Data Modeler, you will be responsible for developing a conceptual and logical data model with standard business names and definitions for a Finance Data System. You will be required to simplify and communicate data models and definitions in a way that is clearly understood by the business users. This conceptual and logical data model will be the basis for data structure requirements for their new Finance related Data Warehouse and operational systems development and sustainment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Integrate and model these business names and definitions across Financial Planning, Accounting, Estimating, Contracts, Cost Management, and Integrated Scheduling.
- Support the development of a Finance Data Governance process. Facilitate large workshops to capture business elements, resolve data conflict, and reflect the results in a logical data model.
- Provide leadership based on experience of best data practices across the industry.
- Support the consolidation of redundant data and the reduction of code-driven translations in Finance systems.

Requirements:
Data Modeler Qualifications:
- Technical Bachelor's degree and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or a Master's degree with typically 7 or more years' or a PhD degree with typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Project experience developing a single Enterprise Model for multiple systems is desired.
- Relational Data Modeling expertise is required; dimensional data modeling and Business Intelligence experience is desired.
- Expertise with standard data modeling tools is required; ER Studio is preferred.
- Experience modeling financial data is preferred.
- Must be able to learn and understand Finance language and terms quickly.
- Knowledge of market trends in data modeling and data governance methodologies.
