The appointee will provide data entry support for the Australian Supersite Network, part of the federally funded Terrestrial Ecosystem Research Network (TERN).This position will involve entering metadata/data into two national databases Metacat and AEOKOS and provides essential data entry support for teams of researchers working around Australia. Applicants need to demonstrate solid scientific, computing and communication abilities, including the ability to work both independently and as a member of a team.
Employment Type: Appointment will be half-time for a fixed-term to 30 June 2014.
Salary: Higher Education Worker Level 4 - $24,737 - $26,278 per annum. Benefits include 5 weeks annual leave, generous employer superannuation contribution and attractive options for salary packaging.
