Major global information provider have an opening for a Data Operation Manager
You must be able to demonstrate excellent operations and people management skills
and be educated to degree level or equivalent work experience.
You need to have demonstrated ability to manage data analysts and/or subject matter experts and experience of, or qualification in, process improvement methodologies, such as Lean or Six Sigma process management theories
Previous experience as a supervisor or manager of a team working with financial data is essential in order to be successful in this role
The role is responsible for a team of nine
The Data Operations Manager will be a key driver to maintain and strengthen its data offerings
The Manager will have responsibility for the sourcing of financial data, managing the flow of financial report data through the sourcing, input, quality control and product delivery stages
Managing the performance and productivity of database analysts based in London, as well as overseeing other UK support staff
Data management projects, as well as managing multiple smaller team data quality projects
Identifying and implementing efficiency improvements through business process analysis and metrics
Liaising with internal and external data stakeholders to manage expectations and requirements
Supervision of communication with all clients on matters arising over data queries, including supervision of a helpdesk operation
